young and innocent then

for as much a tomboy as i was in my youth, i was also totally and utterly into playing barbies... my sister and i inherited the most bombass homemade doll mansion from our neighbor when she "outgrew" it (who didn't experience the torture of wanting to play when you knew you probably were now too old?!)... that sucker had like 10 rooms, balconies, a rooftop pool AND an attached garage... that silly generic dream house didn't even compare... it kills me that one of us didn't save it for posterity... and the stories we would make up! ooooh the stories! long lost princesses raised street urchins! giant bear and dog attacks (stuffed animals of course)!! husband and baby stealing under guise of the night! aaaahhh those were the days man...
