mark my words- these new jeffrey campbell tardy platform boots will be sold out EVERYWHERE in no time... loving their chunky 90's-ness... and at a cool 5.75" they would make me about, oooh 6'3"? 6'4"? honestly, i really dont give a flying f about wearing insanely tall shoes (im tall! i like heels! get over it! and dont ask me how tall i am guy bc obviously taller than you!)... and i would probly be all over these had i not found the most amazing snakeskin peep toe platforms in the back of my closet on a recent trip back home to michigan... you just can't beat sweet new summer sandals for free yo!

go your own way

by some stroke of luck i won a coveted ticket to the outnet's $2 second birthday sale... only 2,000 people were given the opportunity to purchase one high end designer item for $2. even though there were over 2,000 items available ensuring each customer would get something it was imperative to shop and purchase quickly lest someone else buy the object of your desire first.... i wasn't too impressed with the selection... my goal of finding a spring jacket was quickly abandoned for anything that was actually semi-me.... and so i came upon these saucy jil sander sandals in a size 10... sexy and classic yet still unique, these babies retail for $805. yes, you read that right... and my total including shipping and handling? $8... BUA HAHA!!!! best. deal. EVER!!! now i'm just worrying will they fit? will i be able to walk in them? will i even care?

backstage at your show

"The French jewelry designer known for haunting jewelry and conceptual pieces unveiled today the first chapter of a new collection, Exotic Regrets.

About the Dawn Ritual “feet objects” and the Exotic Regrets collection, Aoi Kotsuhiroi told TrendLand, “Exotic Regrets is a dance of the female muscles, tensed up as an ultimate stake. In the enclosure of the secret, ritual bodies and codes split the instant. Parallel heels are instruments of nudity as a trap in tension. The rest remains to be done, other rituals in balance.”

um, holy crap.

that's money honey

i. am. DUH-YYYYYING over proenza schouler's limited edition runway shoes available now at opening ceremony... i mean, shoegasm doesn't do this feeling justice... they are just so beyond... the curved stacked... the platform... the hardware details... i wonder what it would take to convince my roommate to cover my rent this month so that i could buy a pair (prices range from $750 or the hybrid saddle shoes to a cool grand for the leather booties)... perhaps the fact that only 6 pairs of each are available thus making them limited edition pieces of art that i (we?) could actually wear and not only enjoy by staring at a wall??! hmmm something tells me that argument will only work in theory in my sad little fashion obsessed mind....

cheer up sleepy jean

this is the current status of my justification of possibly spending $600 on these new alexander wang mirte laced canvas boots: 1) i'm obsessed with all things alexander wang and yet i don't own anything of his?! travesty! 2) i'd wear these everyday like a pair of chucks... let's say i wear them 50 times this summer? well thats only about $15 per wear!

realistically these are probably not going to find their way into my life- i have coachella and a new handbag to worry about at the moment, but hey, it's always nice to dream right? and well, it couldn't hurt to go try them on, should i suddenly come into a substantial sum of money right? right?!?!
