sooo i spent the last few days increasingly frustrated that my internet was down and i didn't know how or what or why in the world it happened... of course today i discover the modem cord was unplugged. yeeeeaaaaahhhh that's just how i roll!

and this is an example of how mcclandiss & campbell roll... an art direction team based in nyc. i had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with the mcclandiss half this past week... cool dude, great work, i love nyc.

this! this is the kind of editorial that moves you... this is the kind of photography that captures something extra... because it's not just the clothes (which are freakin ridiculous)... it's the attitude, it's the movement, it's the hair, it's the mystery, it's the everything. who is this woman? what kind of life does she have? don't you just want to live in it for a while?

i know that many (most?) people might beg to differ, but i'm actually loving this girl's style... i mean, patent gold docs, a side pony tail and a red glossy lip?! mad props playa... mad props!

now i've been good for way too long

a busy week and the usual boredom with my personal closet options (story of a woman's life no?) led me to put in a reservation on rent the runway for this halston heritage dress for a friends' wedding this coming weekend... i've never used their service so i'm excited and a bit nervous, and i'll be sure to fill you all in on how the overall process goes! the wedding is at a summer camp in connecticut (amazing!) so i'm gonna do a little woodland nymph inspired look- with the right dose of edge of course! i've rounded up the perfect gold accents but i'm still stuck on a nail color- deep purple? nude? gold? navy? gah!
