currently searching for a pair of silver strappy sandals to wear in my best friend's wedding next weekend (shout out to kristin and jason! oh you crazy kids!), and these are pretty much what i would die to don... oh monsieur louboutin! c'est magnifique! oh and i threw in the prada booties because i'm in love... and they're on sale... and well, obviously i have a problem...

i'd rather live a short wild life than a long dull one

kept the bf company while he worked a vintage clothing booth at nolita flea on friday. a friend's old boss has a ridicles collection of vintage t-shirts and 70's americana, but overprices his stuff out the wazoo. the sweatshirt above was $80. um yeah... i honestly cannot understand how someone can charge that much for something you can find at salvation army for $5 tops. which might explain why no one bought anything all day!

gimme gimme

i just can't ever get enough boots. buckles, zippers, low heel, high heel, no heel, summer, winter, fall, i want them all (see what i did there?). honestly i think it mostly has to do with the fact that my wide feet absolutely positively do not look good in dainty little strappy sandals. seriously. one of the most traumatic events of my life was shopping for gold sandals to wear to the senior prom. my sister and best friend can vouch for this. so i generally prefer to cover my boats up, even in the humid nyc summer. preferably in a pair of these badass beauties.
