my summer 2011 uniform is definitely shaping up to be short shorts (pasty polish legs and all!) and sleeveless/muscle tees... lots of amazing options out there... loving this navy t by alexander wang version, as well as chaser's tribal head tee and unif's acid styles... but the best part is that it's the world's easiest do-it-yourself... snip snip! done!

i have been eyeballin' this super chic black jumpsuit at zara for a while and now have further confirmation i need to get on it asap... stella mccartney's latest resort 2012 collection included a seriously spot on iteration... and not only will stella's cost ten times zara's $80 version but it also doesn't offer that seriously sexy back cut out...

was going through some old journals tonight and came across this little ditty... "spring 2008... heart distressed shorts! heart oversized blazer!" too hilarious! and now you really see my love affair with mr. wang has been years in the making...

mark my words- these new jeffrey campbell tardy platform boots will be sold out EVERYWHERE in no time... loving their chunky 90's-ness... and at a cool 5.75" they would make me about, oooh 6'3"? 6'4"? honestly, i really dont give a flying f about wearing insanely tall shoes (im tall! i like heels! get over it! and dont ask me how tall i am guy bc obviously taller than you!)... and i would probly be all over these had i not found the most amazing snakeskin peep toe platforms in the back of my closet on a recent trip back home to michigan... you just can't beat sweet new summer sandals for free yo!

some great style snaps from the vueve clicquot polo classic at governor's island yesterday... as much as i would've loved to go i decided to get some much needed apartment and writing chores done! that and the fact that i knew it was going to be a total mad house... hey, just because i live in nyc doesn't mean i'm down with crazy crowds all the time!
