i'd rather live a short wild life than a long dull one

kept the bf company while he worked a vintage clothing booth at nolita flea on friday. a friend's old boss has a ridicles collection of vintage t-shirts and 70's americana, but overprices his stuff out the wazoo. the sweatshirt above was $80. um yeah... i honestly cannot understand how someone can charge that much for something you can find at salvation army for $5 tops. which might explain why no one bought anything all day!

  1. agreed. Vintage is pricey in a real shop, when its classy, and preferably name brand. Old school 80s and 90s paraphernalia is not "vintage" yet, merely secondhand. When purchasing from a flea market, people tend to look for $20 and under. WTF
