today on my hunt for the

barneys coop and
otte. surprisingly barneys did not have any of the pre-fall shoes yet in store (even though they have them on their
website) and otte's size 9's were sadly too small for my large, frustratingly wide feet... but take heart dear readers! (all 2 of you!) i did not come home entirely empty handed! i fell in love with a candle. more specifically, joya's blue lotus & wild grass candle. designed and hand poured in new york city, the entire
joya line is an olfactory and visual treat. it was a tough decision between my black porcelain octopi adorned choice and the skulled gun powder and green tea (amazing!)... but indeed it is a true testament to the overall amazingness of the line that i spent $50 on a freakin candle! or maybe it's a testament to my shopaholic-ism? a little of both?
